  • Many people around the world held sacred a Holy Week. Zoomed seders and virtual Easter egg hunts. Photoshopped bunnies and modified Seder plates. New traditions born of the old. 

  • The death toll in the US has surpassed Italy’s.

  • Pritzker launched a mental health hotline in Illinois.

What is the same?

  • Adorable Easter outfits fill up social media. Babies in hats, babies in pastels, babies in little suits. A+ job, babies. A+.

What is the hope?

  • I see a bright blue something in the tree outside my window. Is it a bird? Or a gorgeous piece of rubbish? I’ll let it be a bird.
